The Sunday Times has confirmed its confidence in the Sunday Times Eastern Bridal Fair by renewing its sponsorship for 2011 and 2012. The Sunday Times Eastern Bridal Fair in association with Zee TV, Eastern Mosaic, SABC 2, South African Airways, Sony TV and East Coast Radio presents an exciting opportunity at a major exhibition event in South Africa. Now, the Fair is in its 12th year and we anticipate another phenomenal response, judging from the success of the previous fairs. The attendance at the Fair in 2010 exceeded 13,000 people over the 3 days. This year’s event is scheduled for 15,16 and 17 July 2011 at the Durban Exhibition Centre.
A specially decorated 400 seater restaurant will be set up on site for visitors. The event has grown from just a bridal preparation to an important social event on the Durban calendar including the glossy, full colour magazine and the fashion show. It was great hosting Vikram Phadnis, the reputed International fashion designer, Bennu Sehgal, a distinguished fashion designer from India displaying their designs. We also arranged the participation of Abhi of the popular Zee TV series “Karol Bagh”. The highlight of the fair was the appearance of Super-boy Bollywood Star, Darsheel Safary of “Taare Zameen Par” fame, who was adored by the audiences. The choreographer dancers Tripti Master and Ankit Tanna of Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts brought a new dimension to the fashion show/ dance extravaganza that was presented during the 2010 Fair. |
