The Indian bride is the epitome of beauty, grace and sheer elegance. If you are a bride to be then it is really important that you follow a beauty routine well in advance. If need be, visit your beautician regularly to allow her to understand your skin type and preferences.

Hydration, hydration, hydration is the key element for the brides to be. Drinking lots of water is important and beneficial as it makes you glow with health. Water helps improve the digestion and in getting rid of dark circles under the eyes and other advantages.

Oily Skin

If you have oily skin you would understand that it is unfortunately pimple prone and thus needs extra treatment. You must avoid fried foods and add a mild face wash to your routine. You can also use a clay mask which has the capability to remove and soak up oil from deep inside your pores. It also helps remove blackheads. Steaming your face also works great as it opens up the pores removing access oil.

Dry Skin

Too much sun, harsh soaps and cleansers and even diet are some of the causes for dry skin. Drinking lots of water is one remedy for your dry skin. Vitamin E enriched skin creams helps strengthen skin from the inside.
Here’s something quick and easy, mash a ripe banana with a fork and spread it thickly onto the face and throat. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Never rinse / wash your face with hot water.

It is important to protect your skin from the harsh environment. The sun emits dangerous ultra-violet rays, which can cause lasting damage to your skin. If you are going to be outside – even if it is cloudy or overcast, use a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF15 and try and limit your time in the sun. With modern convenience we change the temperature of our rooms either up or down to suit our need, and when doing either, we normally also make the air more dry – which then leaches moisture from the skin. If you are using climate control, maybe look into investing in a humidifier and your skin will show it gratitude.
